On January 16, 1993, Nirvana performed at the Hollywood Rock Festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The performance was so terrible that some of the audience left before it ended. Kurt Cobain played drums, Krist Novoselic played guitar, and Dave Grohl played bass for most of the concert. During the show, they played a strange slowed-down version of 'School' and also performed a regular version. Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers played trumpet during 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'. Kurt changed the lyrics to Queen's 'We Will Rock You' to 'We will fuck you'. Krist threw his bass at Kurt and left the stage, but had to be brought back to complete the 90-minute set. Kurt smashed his guitar and gave the pieces to the audience after 'Territorial Pissings'. The set-list included many of their popular songs, as well as covers of 'We Will Rock You', 'Seasons In The Sun', 'Kids In America', 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go', '867-5309/Jenny', 'Rio', 'Heartbreaker', and 'Run To The Hills'.
